• Conceptualized and developed a novel tandem fuel injection system in crossflow of supersonic aircraft combustors, to improve air-fuel mixing and thereby achieve higher combustion efficiency.• Manufactured an aiding traverse mechanism and devised an experimental set-up to analyze the effectiveness of the tandem fuel injection system using MIE scattering flow visualization technique.• Analyzed the experimental findings using statistical and image processing tools of MATLAB to study the influence of tandem fuel injection system on jet Penetration and spread into supersonic airstream.• We won “Best Outgoing Project Award” winner among 70+ teams participated.

• Gathered data on repetitive quality issues in the fabrication of Excavator frames (LHS, CENTER and RHS) in the welding and root gaps and used PARETO analysis to identify and scrutinize the critical manufacturing problems.• Applied FMEA (Failure mode effect analysis) and 8D method to find the root cause of recurring manufacturing issues and devised methods to identify and prevent the manufacturing error.
