This trilingual Magazine was inaugurated by the gracious presence of S. Hira Singh Gabria The Hon’ble Minister for Jails of the Govt of Punjab and The first Issue come into being on 14th June 2007. Many outstanding personalities of the Region graced the occasion including S. Niranjan Singh IAS, Sh. R.S. Khatra, the then SSP of Mohali & prominent Akali Leader S. Amrik Singh Mohali who graciously represented the Hon’ble Minister being political-cum-social worker.This Magazine was the only one of its kind in North India touching to the hearts of common people at large, so much so, it could be within the reach of people not knowing English language which is taken as prerogative of the elite.On persistent public demand the management also launched the weekly newspaper with the same title on 28th May 2009 with grand ceremony at Chandigarh. The opening ceremony was duly preformed by S. Niranjan Singh IAS, amongst the august presence of the elite of the State including a representative of Sangrur Member of Parliament Sh. Vijay Inder Singla. It is a matter of great pleasure that the Magazine was allotted a spacious office by the Governor of Punjab H.E. General (Retd.) S.F. Rodrigues PVSM, VSM at Karuna Sadan Sec-11/B, Chandigarh, where the outstanding NGO’s including State Red Cross is also housed. On January 14, 2009 the inaugural function was attended by Sh. Pawan Kumar Bansal, the then Hon’ble Union State Minister Finance Govt. of India. Smt. Mohinder Kaur Josh, the Chief Parliamentary Secretary Punjab Govt and Smt. Kamlesh Rani Mayor Chandigarh also graced the occasion. For the information of our esteemed readers and public at large, the Editor-in-Chief, Sh. Sital Dass Katru of this august magazine and weekly by the same name, has very vast experience in journalism spanning to decades togather besides vast administrative experience.
