As a software engineer at Harver and Gapstars, I develop and maintain web applications using React and Node.js, two of my core competencies. I work with both front-end and back-end technologies, applying the model-view-controller (MVC) architecture and using DigitalOcean as the cloud platform. I have successfully delivered multiple projects for various clients, such as ConceptVines, where I was a software engineer from Oct 2022 to Aug 2023. I increased the performance and scalability of their web platform by optimizing the code, implementing caching, and deploying microservices. I also improved the user interface and experience by adding features, fixing bugs, and enhancing responsiveness. I graduated with a bachelor of computer science degree from the University of Ruhuna in 2021, where I learned the fundamentals of programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, and software engineering. I also obtained two certifications from LinkedIn on Node.js essential training and learning Node.js, demonstrating my proficiency and interest in this technology. I am a team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to operate with minimum direction. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to contribute to the organization's goals and vision.
