• Cultured bacterial strains in 9K medium and used them to extract copper from chalcopyrite• Calculated the amount of iron and copper leached using UV and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS)

• Heat treated 2205 grade Duplex Stainless Steel (DSS) by annealing, normalizing and quenching • Carried out potentiodynamic investigation on the heat treated samples in acidic and basic environments • Established the regions of heat treatment of steel for optimal performance in marine applications
