• Perform the complete accounting cycle for a portfolio of more than 20 clients in a dynamic manner, while developing relationships of trust with them.• Produce monthly GST/QST returns.• Perform accounting and month-end closing activities.• Prepare adjusting journal entries.• Perform monthly bank & credit card reconciliations.• Efficiently perform all aspects of accounts payable and receivable (invoice and payment processing, account reconciliation and proactive follow-up of aging reports to promptly process overdue payments).• Organize & coordinate the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.• Perform variance analysis on financial statements.• Perform monthly P&L trend analysis.• Prepare annual corporate tax returns.• Prepare annual income tax returns.• Act on behalf of the client with Revenue Quebec & Revenue Canada as per Power of attorney to solve various business issues.

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements (Balance sheet,Income statement, Cash flow, etc.) - Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annually & annually regulatory forms.- Prepare ad-hoc reports, analysis and conduct special reports as necessary.- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.- Coordinate with other departments to resolve cross-functional matters.- Coordinate with IT department to ensure continuous improvement of reporting process by focusing on automation.- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.

- Maintaining the cash position report of the company in various banks.- Preparing the banks and accounts reconciliations.- Maintaining the daily expenses of the company by handling the bookkeeping of the bills of various suppliers.- Managing prepaid and accrued expenses.- Preparing the unearned income schedule.- Preparing the company cost analysis.- Preparing ad hoc and special reports upon request.

- Cash transactions.- Incoming and outgoing transfers.- Opening new account procedures.- Maintaining acceptable knowledge about various banking regulations.
