As a development professional and relationship-builder with 10+ years' experience in donor relations and fundraising, I believe that every interaction matters. I believe growth can occur when the building blocks of an organization are clear, and my role in business development so far has been to foster the relationships necessary for an organization's leadership, supporters, and programs to succeed. In addition to running a patron services department dedicated to the arts member experience on every level, I have raised annual funds from a portfolio of discrete five and six figure contributors, writing proposals, briefings and acknowledgements to close and book end-of-year gifts. In my next steps, I strive to maximize my donor stewardship experience, build on my writing skills, and gain more experience in foundation philanthropy.
