Experienced General Ledger Accountant with a demonstrated history of working in the consumer goods industry and facilities companies. My Duties include but are not limited to maintaining account receivables, account payables and fixed assets. I am also responsible to verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers and databases, reconciling bank statements in comparison to general ledger, review and balance internal accounts, analyze variances, prepare appropriate reports such as accrual and prepaid accounts, monitor depreciable assets. Moreover, participate in month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, sales tax computations, and other accounting duties in a timely manner.
