With over nine years of experience as a Client Care Representative at Institute on Aging, I am passionate about helping seniors with communication disorders live independently and comfortably. I have a BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders from San Jose State University, and I have completed the California board certified program in the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant from San Joaquin Delta College. I have skills in speech therapy, motor speech disorders, and autism spectrum disorders, which I apply to provide personalized and effective services to my clients. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure the holistic well-being of the seniors I serve. I also facilitate communication and coordination with their families, caregivers, and community partners. My mission is to empower individuals with communication disorders to enjoy a high quality of life and dignity.
