• Methoding of sand and investment casting parts like valve body (SCV body, gate valve body, Globe valve body, Side entry cryogenic valve body and its accessories...) Pump casing and impellers (Centrifugal, Twin screw pump) and other engineering castings with range of CLASS 150 to 2500, weight range from 0.5 grams to 8T single piece and Size from ½” to 65”.Material grade: Carbon Steel, Stainless steel(Corrosion resistance steel, heat resistant steel, duplex steel), Nickel based alloy(Hast alloy, Inconel..) etc..• Good knowledge on Casting Simulation Software and experience in use of Casting Simulation software (like Soft CAST and Z-CAST) and its technical interpretation like hotspots, temperature gradient, modulus and other related parameters based on process and material grades. • Providing Solutions all types of casting defects Shrinkage, Porosity, gas porosity, sand inclusions, cracks, etc.. Done yield improvements for many castings.• Yield improvement by optimizing method with right design of casting and controlled process parameters.Responsibilities :( Design)• Design and developed of all casting parts like Pump casing, liner, gear and drive covers and cover plates, bearing support also Valve body and its accessories with better understanding of castability for all type of steel material with following machining allowances, casting tolerances as per standard(ISO 8062-3 & ISO 2768-1)• Developing of DSP series (Double Volute Twin Screw Pump) with Low, medium and high pressures (100 bars) which are used in Oil & gas, Petrochemical industry and used for low and high viscous purpose as per API 676.• Study of Stress, Load, Deflection analysis through Pro-mechanica.• Preparing BOM & Exploded view for cartridge unit • Preparing GAD (Baseplate, Pump, motor, Coupling, coupling guard...)• Working on Wind-Chill (PDM link) and get interact with KU – German team through video conference• Good knowledge on manufacture process of casting

Service and Sales

Methoding for Steel castings, SGI , CI under Sand casting and Investment casting process.

• 2D to 3D conversion of casting drawings with help of Pro/E Wildfire Software .• Analyzing the castings in Simulation Software .• Study of Hotspots, Temperature distribution, Gradient, Modulus and other related process parameters to understand the castablity of the casting.• Developing Method design (feeding and gating system) as per Wlodavar (Modulus) method.• Analyzing the Method in Simulation Software then interpret from the output results.• Developing method for Sand casting process (Steel and irons), investment casting process (steel), Foam casting process and for gravity die casting process. • Preparing final report with right technical interpretation from simulation results and sending to the customer, then follow- up with customers till the final output from shopfloor.Other responsibilities:• Onsite Operational and technical training at the Customer side after installation of the Simulation Software • Online support via Team viewer and Skype (local and abroad) for review session of Simualation and query clarification related to operational and technical.• Proving onsite and online (through Team viewer) Demo about the Software to the foundries and involving in pre-sale activities.Technical Knowledge:• In Casting process (Gravity sand &Investment), Methoding Technology (Modulus calculation, Understanding castablity of casting,Study of Gradients & equilibration, feeding distance,chill placements, feeding efficiency w.r.t to Sleeve MEF factor,Padding design,Identifying number of Solidifying zones in a casting)• Material knowledge and Solidification behavior of Steel, Ductile iron, Grey cast iron.• Defect analysis on Shrinkage, Porosity, tears and cracks, Inclusions, Sand erosion etc.• DFM ( Design For Manufacturing)
