👋 Hi, I’m Ramnath, a Physical Design Engineer Trainee at Maven Silicon Softech Pvt., and I’m deeply passionate about the world of semiconductor design. My journey into Physical Design Engineering began with a fascination for how tiny transistors and circuits come together to power the technology that shapes our world. As an Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) graduate, I was captivated by the complexity of chip design and the challenge of optimizing layout and performance at the microscopic level.At Maven Silicon, I’ve been fortunate to work hands-on with industry-standard tools like Fusion Compiler (FC), Design Compiler (DC), ICC2 , and Primetime. From 32nm RISC-V processors to router design, I’ve worked on projects that required me to think critically about timing optimization, placement, routing, and power efficiency. These experiences have strengthened my skills in static timing analysis (STA), clock tree synthesis (CTS), and design rule checks (DRC)—all while igniting my passion for the art and science of physical design.🌱 What Drives Me:I’m passionate about solving problems—especially the intricate challenges that arise in chip design. The thrill of optimizing a layout, closing timing, or finding the perfect balance between power, performance, and area is what keeps me motivated.
