The Country Head of Talent and Learning is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Has a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses. Negotiates internally, often at a senior level. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Has full people management responsibility, including management of budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.Responsibilities:• Aids in aligning global strategy with regional and country specific priorities in partnership with regional/product/country senior leadership teams• Contributes to the implementation of globally consistent content processes recognizing country/regional/product nuances with global talent, diversity, recruitment , HR, and learning colleagues• Partners with senior executives, HRAs to identify global solutions for talent and diversity and implement initiatives• Designs and deploys executive assessment, aggregate trends and provide data to other supporting HR functions• In partnership with HRAs Designs and builds global programs to enable leadership accountability for talent and diversity management• Leverages talent analytics to share insight/ identify root causes in order to partner with the business; to advise/Consult with business leaders on pipeline management• Engages and manages external partners to leverage expertise and ensure seamless delivery of programmatic work• Manages employee inclusion networks• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
