Buildings are complex to design & build – Mechanical & electrical systems are probably the most complex elements to integrate in the design process and allow architecture to shine.As a Building services engineer I hope to achieve this through closer communication with Clients, Architects and Builders. I enjoy working in design teams with respect for solving each other’s competing demands and this I think creates the best outcomes. I enjoy working on projects most when they create wider community benefits, be it healthcare services, community purpose or urban development. My consulting engineering experience has spanned 25 years, including a 5 year period working in London. Whilst abroad I worked on projects in the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East. Most of my time has been based in Wellington up until January 2015 when I relocated to Auckland. Ramon moved back to Wellington in 2019 and currently works on projects across NZ from this location.
