I am a strategist. I have helped hundreds of leadership teams (startup & enterprise) hone their vision, strategy & story to Maximize value + impact. Much of my work focusses on building alignment in 4 areas:. what does success look like & why (end-state... when they have achieved their mission). how to tell the mission story to attract investment / talent etc. . agility... identifying & reacting to disruptive risks & opportunities to accelerate success. value capture (tightly linked with investor readiness)... WHY I DO THIS ...I'm on a quest to help purpose-driven leaders get aligned on how they see the world unfolding, what success looks like and how to tell that story in the most compelling way. I’m obsessed with finding the right counter-positioning to capture value, and the right moat to defend it. When it's all said & done, I have a passion for helping entrepreneurs work ON their business, not just IN it. ... ANCIENT HISTORY...I've been at this for a long time and have had the honor of working with hundreds of leadership teams in both group and individual settings. Sometimes my involvement is around a specific project, like aligning on the mission & story or preparing for a capital raise. Other times I take on the role of chief strategist and become a fractional member of the leadership team over the long haul. Prior to committing to strategy full time, I built and sold three companies and helped lead two multi-national turnarounds.
