In September, 2007, Casper went to work for ING Real Estate Investment Management, a subsidiary of the Dutch multinational banking and financial services corporation, ING Groep (now VOYA Financial as of September, 2014). Casper used C&M’s profits in November, 2000, to become a Charter Member and Founder of a start-up community bank, First Carolina State Bank, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, which was eventually acquired by Capitol Bancorp Ltd.
