Perform merchandise resets, and plan for the organization of the department. Organize and support a team of associates, and provide follow up/training to ensure duties of the job are performed to expectation. Provide management support in all areas of the store, and maintain responsibility for master key sets, cash drawers, recyclers etc.

Water and care for live plant displays. Recommend plants for customers on planned growth conditions, and outdoor bird feeding. Merchandise and set modular sections for multiple departments within the store. Operate pallet jacks, stock carts, and compactors to stock 2-4 pallets of freight per day, along with unloading freight from the truck.

Work with customers as they came into the store to determine which parts they needed, and to insure the parts they were getting fit the vehicle they were working on. Worked to ensure that the customer had all the extra parts needed to fully and correctly do the job (ie. getting new valve cover gaskets when replacing valve covers, or bulb grease with new headlight bulbs). Other responsibilities included delivering parts to the various commercial clients in the Raleigh area.

My role was to greet the client as they arrived at the precinct, and to check them in for their appointment with Geek Squad. My role also included basic troubleshooting, sub-10 minute quick fixes, and to match their needs with an appropriate service, and check their device in for the services agreed upon. Other responsibilities for this role included the assessment and resetting of returned merchandise for the Open Box program within the store.

My role was to greet customers in a timely fashion and assess their mobile needs whether they were a new phone, new carrier, a plan change, or just accessories. It was my job to provide a start to finish complete solution to their needs so that the customer was able to walk out working. This also included minor services such as screen protector applications. When not with a customer, the work done was housekeeping and making sure the aisles looked presentable.
