Currently teaching Bioinformatics Data Skills. Developed and taught Bioinformatics Applications I and II (BIFX 552/3), and have also taught R Programing for Bioinformatics.

While working with the Advanced Biomedical Computational Science (ABCS) group, the scope of my responsibilities grew to include the entire portfolio of ABCS, including collaborations with three NIH institutes, the Army, the Navy, and two subcontracts.My main tasks included managing our contracts, coordinating work across the different teams within ABCS, managing our subcontractors, and managing our budget. I also consulted on the statistical aspects of various projects, mentor young scientists, and provide training to the NCI/NIH community.

Contributed statistical and bioinformatic expertise to 23 publications. Trained and directly supervised 14 student interns. Extensive experience with small and large datasets, including complex disease association data, microbiome and exome. Advanced R programming and package development. Database and Linux server administration. Exposure to other programming environments including C, Bash and SQL.
