Set-up, Program editing of seven axis Mori Lathes

Problem solving was one of the most time consuming parts of this job. I would repost programs on Mastercam, help in setting up jobs. Inspect my work and other. I had a inspection stamp and would buy off first part inspection. I also set-up and programmed their CNC 2 axis lathe. All Mills and Lathes were Hurcos.

Instructor for first year students in manual machine operation and safety. Fill in for GD&t and other lessons. Help lay new shop opening.

Program two axis lathes without CAM software. Five machines each with a different control. The most time was programming and set-up of new two axis vertical lathe with a 18 inch chuck and a Fanuc control.

I would over see up to twenty two machinist on two to three shifts. I also coroneted all work thru the shop including outsourcing some programming. Putting together a 40,000.00 dollar tooling package for the shop. Problem solving and using mastecam to find points for inspection to check our five axis machining to use on our manual CMM.
