Worked with clients implementing o9 Supply Chain solutions.

Responsible for leading the teams in the implementation of Supply Chain solutions for Repositrak/Park City Group. Areas of focus were Demand Planning, Forecasting, Store replenishment, DC replenishment, and Order Management.

Worked directly with many retailers and suppliers to design, configure and implement Supply Chain solutions. Primary areas of expertise were demand planning/forecasting and DC and store replenishment.

 Managing the delivery of major business projects. Business owner for all Order Management applications for over 2,000 retail locations and 15 distribution centers Oversee and contribute expert business knowledge on process improvement efforts, system enhancements, and general day to day activities and projects Procurement and supply chain business lead for multiple large scale cross functional supply chain standardization and consolidation efforts

 Oversight for all supply chain technology projects, dotted line direct report to the EVP of Supply Chain.  Strategic planning with Supply Chain Executive team to create 3-5 year business plans and technology roadmap. Making sure annual business operating plans aligned to Information Technology plans. Creating annual budgets for IT projects in the Supply Chain area.  Creating and managing the technology sections of quarterly business plans. Working with the business to create business cases for proposed solutions, presenting the proposals at Project Governance, and working with Finance and the business on ROIC estimates. Creating RFI and RFP proposals, submitting to software vendors and evaluating the responses.  Technology oversight for all tactical and operational business initiatives that required IT involvement. Examples are acquisitions, labor dispute contingency planning and execution, facility expansions, facility consolidations, and distribution/logistics outsourcing. Responsibility for recommending technology solutions, facilitating the evaluation of potential technology solution providers, and recommending build versus buy alternatives. Responsible for facilitating IT problem resolutions for issues that reached the VP or EVP level. Responsible for setting priorities for all smaller enhancement requests and making sure requests were in line with strategic direction.

 Managed many different technical implementations, including in-house developed applications and vendor purchased applications, primarily in the procurement/supply chain areas. CAO - Computer Assisted Ordering – Lead analyst or manager for three separate initiatives (at American Stores, Albertsons and again at Supervalu). Was involved from inception to the start of rollout at American Stores and Albertsons, and Discovery and vendor selection at Supervalu, including RFI and RFP creation and evaluation. Directly managed a team of 10 technology professionals (Senior Systems Analysts, Programmers and Business Analysts).

 Logistics Rollout – Was responsible for co-leading the rollout of a suite of new logistics applications at American Stores. Coordinated the project plans of 8 Systems managers and over 100 IT professionals. Worked with the business, IT management and the software vendor to resolve issues, manage expectations and track project deliverables.  Software development – As a technical Group Lead, I led a team of 11 developers and analysts in systems integration efforts during the Albertsons acquisition of American Stores. Developed a companywide order management system. Was responsible for project management, overall system design, resource allocation and assignments, managing user expectations and setting priorities for system enhancement/fixes (mainframe & Unix).  Co-designed, tested and implemented a perishables buying/inventory management system (DCS2000 - mainframe CICS/VSAM/DB2).

 Was responsible for the coordination between IT and the business (logistics area) in a “business re-engineering” effort at American Stores. Was responsible for capturing business requirements, creating use cases, modeling process flows and creating, maintaining and managing the project plan for the business.
