I managed the daily operations of the division, including coordinating the formal and informal taskers, developing the Fiscal Year 2024 spend plan, and recruiting military and civilian personnel for the fastest growing and most diverse Division in the office of the Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs. In 2022, as Chief, International Affairs Space Cooperations Branch, I managed the $372 million positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) and navigation warfare (NAVWAR) international portfolio, developing and authoring two international memoranda of understanding and nine project arrangements, enabling the U.S.’s national strategy of enabling space cooperation with 14 international allies and partners.

I replied to over 400 congressional requests for information and aided the Congressional Defense Committee’s work in developing the FY22 National Defense Authorization Act and related appropriations bills.In 2020, I was named to the Secretary of Defense’s COVID-19 Task Force as the Deputy Chief of Strategic Communications, shaping the Department of Defense’s communications plan to both the U.S. Congress and public media outlets. I coordinated and transmitted over 600 Congressional and media requests for information related to the Department’s response to COVID-19.In 2019, I developed and implemented the communications strategy for the President’s formal notification to key Congressional leaders in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate on the strategic decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty with Russia, which enabled the Congressional Defense Committees to develop a more comprehensive National Defense Authorization Act. Further, I coordinated the Office of the Secretary of Defense position on adding the newly-formed U.S. Space Command into the Joint Chief’s Unified Command Plan.
