Military Deputy Division Chief for 25-person division, enabling space security cooperation with international allies and partners. Provides oversight and guidance on the development, negotiations, and conclusions of Department of the Air Force international armament cooperative agreements, foreign military sales, U.S. industry engagements and U.S. programs building partner capacity. Additionally, prepares senior Department of the Air Force senior leaders for international counterpart visits and bilateral negotiations and discussions.In 2023, as Military Deputy, International Affairs Space Division, I led the 25-member Division through an extended period of personnel and leadership changeover, representing the Division at all levels of international engagement. I managed the daily operations of the division, including coordinating the formal and informal taskers, developing the Fiscal Year 2024 spend plan, and recruiting military and civilian personnel for the fastest growing and most diverse Division in the office of the Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs. In 2022, as Chief, International Affairs Space Cooperations Branch, I managed the $372 million positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) and navigation warfare (NAVWAR) international portfolio, developing and authoring two international memoranda of understanding and nine project arrangements, enabling the U.S.’s national strategy of enabling space cooperation with 14 international allies and partners.

Advises the Secretary of Defense, Military Services, Joint Chiefs of Staff, government agencies and congressional staff on space, nuclear, counter-weapons of mass destruction, ballistic missile defense, chemical and biological warfare legislative issues. Provides the Secretary of Defense support on plans, policies covering broad National Defense Strategy & Security initiatives and priorities. Develops Department of Defense correspondence and legislative strategies in support of President's Budget and Administration matters. Prepares senior Department of Defense officials for meetings with Members of Congress and testimony before Congressional hearings.In 2021, I prepared 32 Department of Defense leaders for 12 distinct congressional hearings defending the President’s $715B FY22 budget. I replied to over 400 congressional requests for information and aided the Congressional Defense Committee’s work in developing the FY22 National Defense Authorization Act and related appropriations bills.In 2020, I was named to the Secretary of Defense’s COVID-19 Task Force as the Deputy Chief of Strategic Communications, shaping the Department of Defense’s communications plan to both the U.S. Congress and public media outlets. I coordinated and transmitted over 600 Congressional and media requests for information related to the Department’s response to COVID-19.In 2019, I developed and implemented the communications strategy for the President’s formal notification to key Congressional leaders in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate on the strategic decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty with Russia, which enabled the Congressional Defense Committees to develop a more comprehensive National Defense Authorization Act. Further, I coordinated the Office of the Secretary of Defense position on adding the newly-formed U.S. Space Command into the Joint Chief’s Unified Command Plan.
