Directed accounting/finance for wholesale distribution companies—A/R, A/P, GL, payroll, cash forecasting, period closing, financial reporting, budgeting, variance reporting, business modeling, fixed assets, banking relationships, audit liaison, LOC collections, A/R insurance, receivables factoring, business insurance, and credit requests. Administered health, life, worker’s comp, disability insurance plans and POP plan. Coordinated implementation of MS Great Plains 7.5 accounting system and accounting processes. Developed a company process model, led process development brainstorming, and documented processes. Developed a business model used to forecast the financial impact of investing in multiple business lines. Developed/implemented a budgeting model for 27 departments and created/defined a chart of accounts. Performed business start-up activities for two companies—acquired seller’s permits, business tax licenses, insurances, banking relationships, and EDD registrations.

Managed FP&A and backroom operations department with over 20 staff members for the Fiduciary and Asset Management Group. Key member of cross-functional team that merged group operations and integrated the trust accounting systems for mergers, implemented new products, and evaluated key trust accounting systems. Also directed a divisional service quality program, filed regulatory and SEC reports, and acted as liaison to Federal and State examiners to coordinate regulatory examinations.
