I am a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, with a BFA in Acting. Working in schools, ranging from Title 1 to Private, I've led classes in drama and creative play throughout Los Angeles, woking with Pre-K through 8th Grade. Additionally, I have developed museum theatre pieces with kids, creating short playlets based on the art, object, and artifacts found within a museum gallery. Finally, I am the founder of Not Your Mama's Drama, which offers unique theatre arts workshops for kids, ages 3-13. I also have worked extensively with teenagers and musical theatre and lead drama-based superhero workshops for young children. I have successfully directed several large-scale musicals featuring over 100 students, collaborating with music directors and choreographers.I love searching out new opportunities to work and create performance pieces for children and families. I also hope to work with schools and organizations to help integrate the arts across the curriculum and to lead professional development workshops for teachers who want to learn how to utilize theatre as a lesson strategy and in teaching SEL skills.
