Working with the Nielsen Sample Stores in Northern New Jersey, my responsibilities are to identify new products being sold in Flagship Stores, and researching unidentified products (DB8 error codes), finding the products and coding them for the Nielsen Market Research Team. Sample Stores include: Shop Rite, Whole Foods, Kings and Fairway Supermarkets, 7-Eleven and Quick Check, and Convenience Stores, Rite-Aid and Pet Valu Stores.

• Research and Development in the field of Israel Education in North America: Interviewing, Qualitative Analysis and Report Writing.

• Led the administration of online surveys and reporting efforts for “First Things First,” "Measuring What Matters," and “Doing What Matters” Evaluations for 20 schools in 9 districts in the Mid-west, Texas, and Arizona. Managed the online survey process; created surveys and Survey Access Codes online; coordinated completion of surveys with schools and ensured distribution of access codes to the appropriate participants; monitored response rates; trouble-shooting of technical problems as required. • Quantitative Data Analysis and Report Writing for all schools and districts participating in "Measuring What Matters" and "Doing What Matters" evaluations.• Managed online survey administration and tracked teacher and student survey data, extant, and achievement data for the “Every Classroom, Every Day” Randomized Control Trial for 20 schools in districts in California, Arizona, Tennessee, and New York.• Developed teacher and student surveys for the “Doing What Matters” Evaluation• Managed all logistics and distribution of training materials for the 3rd “Doing What Matters” Conference in April, 2010.

•Led a local and national evaluation of the “Magnet School Assistance Program” (MSAP) in 11 districts throughout the Northeast. •Developed survey administration protocols; supervised and coordinated the administration of teacher, student, administrator and multilingual parent surveys, online and on paper in more than 100 Magnet and Comparison schools. •Worked with district Magnet Directors to select appropriate comparison schools, and troubleshoot survey problems; developed and maintained strong client/evaluator relationships, and ensured timely return of all survey data. •Managed all outsourcing of data entry, and later implemented the use of an in-house optical scanning system for processing survey data. Trained and supervised staff on use of the scanner and developed an in-house manual documenting survey administration and scanning procedures.•Co-developed analysis plans for survey data and statewide achievement data; cleaned and analyzed data; and wrote reports for the MSAP Evaluation.•Designed and supervised the generation of four sets of MSAP survey data deliverables. •Conducted site visits for other projects involving classroom observations in English and Spanish speaking classrooms, and interviews with school staff. •Developed data requests for student level demographic and statewide achievement data, and routinely communicated with district Data Directors to ensure timely receipt of all data as requested.•Administered and analyzed additional survey and statewide achievement testing data for other Alliance Evaluations, including: “Implementing for Success”, “Small Learning Communities”, “Ready to Learn”, and regional Bilingual Education evaluations.

•Cleaned and analyzed survey data for the Child Care Provider and Parent Surveys on the “Community Profiles” project and the “Statewide Kindergarten Study”. •Reviewed grants for the “Parent Child Home Project”, “Transition to Full-Day Kindergarten” and the “Quality Full-Day Kindergarten Grant Programs.” Worked with other reviewers and Department of Education personnel to identify award recipients.•Assisted in the administration of the “Parent Child Home Project”, “Transition to Full-Day Kindergarten” and the “Quality Full-Day Kindergarten Grant Programs.” •Reviewed district internal evaluation reports of their “Community Partnerships for Children” grants to identify Best Practices to share with all grant participants.

Coordinated classroom visits throughout New England with EDC staff, Head Start directors and classroom teachers. Conducted one-on-one interactive assessments with 3-5 year-old Head Start children in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the Language Environment Enrichment Program (LEEP) at EDC. Tests administered include: The Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (PPVT), Early Phonemic Awareness Profile, Emergent Literacy Profile, and Book Concepts (Goodnight Moon).

•Conducted qualitative data analysis on data received from focus groups, interviews, and open-ended comments on surveys. For Sesame Street: Assisted with data collection efforts in the field (moderating sessions, observing and interviewing subjects, and videotaping)Coded participation data. Evaluated 3-5 year-olds’ attention and participation behaviors with shows from Sesame Street's 22nd season and presented the results to the head writers and producers of the show. Curriculum for this season focused on four American Indian tribes including the critically acclaimed “Crow Indian” shows - part of a four year Race Relations Initiative. For Square One Television: Developed and implemented a coding system for the "Be on Square One TV" Contest entries in order to determine what viewers were learning from the show. Assisted with observations in the field as part of formative research for the “David Numberman” and Q-Bert Game Spoof segments.
