Within IDC's European Software & Services Research my role is to manage integrating of and processes in two recently combined groups, ensuring a smooth transition to a fully integrated Research Team. In effect this is best described as an 'Internal Management Consultant'. These activities imply:1. Developing, centralizing and streamlining process work to improve overall efficiencies, delivery quality, and customer satisfaction.2. Being ambassador of continuously strengthening relationships and improving collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.3. Supporting the rest of the research/consulting team by taking responsibility for core processes, often distributed, allowing more focus on core research, sales support and customer facing activities.

Responsible for all research and consulting within Business Intelligence in Europe. Conducting written studies on market trends and vendor developments, engage IT vendors in briefings, seminars, and workshops advising them on opportunities, messaging, positioning, etc. Conveying best practice issues to end-user audiences through speaking at conferences and webinars, white papers, and exposure through press, blogs and other third-party events. Also supporting clients on custom market analysis and strategies through consulting services.

Responsible for a number of standard reports and project management on smaller consulting projects. Develop written reports and presentations including research activities. Support of internal sales processes and activities.
