He also spent two years based in the UK heading corporate administration for Fidelity’s businesses in Europe and Asia.Randy previously was the CEO of one of 25th largest U.S. security service companies, a business that he founded, grew, and eventually sold to a public company.After leaving Fidelity, he was elected as Vermont's 28th State Auditor. He was the 2012 Republican nominee for Governor. He is serving his fifth term in the Vermont State Senate where he is currently is the Senate Minority Leader.Randy is an independent director of ipCapital Group, America's leading intellectual property consulting firm. He has chaired the board of the Hodges University Foundation and he has served as Chair of the Audit Committee of the National Board of Directors of the Alzheimer’s Association. He has been a Trustee of the Vermont Historical Society, the Florida Southwestern State College Foundation and the Vermont Law School. He was appointed by President George W. Bush to the Board of Visitors to the US Military Academy at West Point and he was the Board’s 2010 and 2011 elected Vice Chair.Randy served in Vietnam as a Captain in the Army Military Police Corps.
