I am the father of Keisuke Christian Collins, born on 03/03/03 at 3:03pm in Orange, California. On June 16, 2008 he was illegally abducted to Japan by his mother, Reiko Nakata Greenberg Collins. I have not seen or heard from him since June 15, 2008. Reiko has warrants for her arrest by the Orange County Sheriff, FBI, and InterpolI am a co founder and the Managing Director of BACHome (Bring Abducted Children Home). A non-profit corporation which raises awareness and educates legislators, attorneys, and judges on the issue of International Parental Abduction to and within Japan. With State Senator Mimi Walter, I authored SB 1206, Keisuke's Law. It passed the California State Assembly and Senate unanimously in 2012. BACHome has been instrumental in the passage of House Resolution 1326 in September 2010 by a margin of 416-1, and Senate Resolution 543 which passed unanimously in November 2012. These resolution condemned Japan for the sanctioning of the abduction of thousands of American children and demanded Japan return our illegally abducted children. In 2014 BACHome and the Bring Sean Home Foundation worked side by side with Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ) and other members of congress to ensure passage of HR 3212, The Sean and David Goldman International Child Abduction Prevention & Return Act. This historic legislation unanimously passed in House of Representatives and US Senate. Japan is the #1 offender of Parental Abductions in the world. To date no child abducted to Japan has ever been returned with the assistance of the Japanese government. The tireless efforts of members of BACHome and other organization pushed Japan to finally become a signatory of the Hague Convention Treaty of the Civil Aspects of the Child. In doing so, my case involving the illegal kidnapping of my son, became the first US case to be approved by the new Japanese Central Authority.
