I started at the bottom of the ladder and worked my way to the top with lots of hard work and determination. Started as a laborer. Stock, stack, carrying lumber. Organize jobsite and keeping it clean. Learned how to drive forklift. Moved up to carpenters helper. Assemble wall and deck components, learn proper use of tools, identify safety hazards, set up crane safely and install roof plywood. Moved up to Carpenter. Set roof truss, windows, doors, stairs and steel beams. Install core wall, punch out, cut rafters, install cornice, build sundecks and layout walls and floors. Moved up to leadman. Read blueprints and layout. Supervised 5 or more workers, proper maintenance for company tools, trained workers on proper safety procedures and framing techniques, and frame check house. Moved up to Foreman. Frame house with minimal supervision, paperwork, schedule crane, schedule forklift maintenance, order hardware and supplies for the job. Walk house daily to ensure proper safety and framing techniques were being used. Redline blueprints, communicate with superintendent and attend Foreman meetings. Then moved up to senior project manager. Oversee 2 or more jobs and 5 or more crews. Weekly progress reports, manage manpower so it’s used effectively in different locations. Supervise subcontractors and sign invoices. Responsible for making changes to material take offs. Oversee marking up of redline plans and cut sheets. Stay in contact with previous jobs and supervisors to ensure they are complete. Participate in Foreman meetings and attend production meetings. Estimate lumber take offs and order frame, trim, and deck material. Supervise apartment jobs with 50-80 workers. Markup plans with bluebeam software and teach computer skills to other employees. Field Operations Manager- oversee all field employees,weekly staff meetings,approve all sub vouchers,approve all equipment bills,schedule and issue P.O. for all equipment and cranes.Tracking of all company and rental equipment.
