Concordia Homes was founded in 1977 to build homes, principally in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Later the focus of our activities expanded to Orange County, Los Angeles County, Ventura County, and San Diego County. In 1994 Concordia opened up a separate sister Company in Nevada, and later in Arizona. The San Bernardino based Company was considered to be a dominate builder in the Inland Empire Region, whose speciality was Quality Homes at extremely low cost of Construction, all built on a very fast time line. As with any business, Management is a major part of any success. In new construction Management has many faces: Design, Cost Controls, Buyer Satisfaction, Risk Management, Integrity, Investor Results, Political Relations, just to name a few. Concordia became a leader in these and other fields. After building thousands of homes and developing thousands of lots we sold the Riverside/ San Bernardino Company, with geographical limits to the name, in 1997, and moved to San Diego. We enjoyed great success here having built numerous projects with in the County, and are currently developing and selling Pacific Station in Encinitas on HiWay 101 in the center of town. We have a quality resume of Projects which we have developed and built over the years here in San Diego, with many more to come.

In the 1960's Lincoln Savings was one of the more sucessful construction lenders and joint venture partners of that era. Fourteen years after I left Lincoln Savings, which was wholly owned by a public company named First Lincoln Financial, the Company was the subject of a hostile take over by a group headed by Charles Keating. This take over eventually resulted in a economic disaster that was notorious during the period which is now known as the Savings and Loan Crisis. Prior to my departure to the Construction and Developement world, I served on numerous Boards at various levels. The most interesting was my position on the Board at Lincoln Bank, where I was a Board Member, a Loan Committee Member, and an Executive Committee Member. Additionally I served on the Board of Diversified Life Insurance Company, Allied Escrow Company, Provident Mortgage Company, Oxford Financial Corporation, and eleven other related entities.
