After a successful 14-year career at global eye care leader Bausch & Lomb, where he became the company’s youngest Vice President, Randy founded Virox Technologies Inc.™ in 1998, an Ontario-based start-up that disrupted the infection control sector with its innovative and patented disinfectant technologies. Randy has a steadfast belief in the power of education and is a graduate of the Sheridan College business program (BA 1982), the Queens School of Business Executive Program (1995), and the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto MBA program (2004). At Rotman, he received the prestigious “You Speak, We Listen” award voted on by peers and faculty and bestowed on a single student who was determined to contribute the most relevant and real-world perspective to the class, with the premise that we can learn much from each other. Randy also graduated from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D designation) Corporate Governance program at U of T Rotman (2005), was bestowed with an Honorary Bachelor of Arts Degree from Sheridan College (2007), attended Harvard Business School’s Strategic Planning and Competitive Advantage Course (2007) and served on the Board of Governors of the Sheridan Polytechnic Institute (2008-2012).
