Accounting and Special Projects for Leagal Firms.

• Coordinate and manage departmental personnel (three managers and seven staff members) as well as all functional areas of the department made up of the following: • Prepare for the Management Committee and COO various weekly and monthly financial analysis including:o Trend analysis of numerous firm metrics, o Operational budget analysis (billable hours, production, billings and collections),o Financial budget variance ando Monthly financial statements.• Generate, distribute and communication of various informational and financial packages and reports to Partners and Attorneys.• Coordinate with outside Accountants for annual Reviewed Financial Statement and Partnership Tax Return.• Coordination with the Third Party Administrator on all aspects of the Firm’s Profit Sharing and 401(k) plan.• Annual budget preparation.• Profitability analysis of Clients, Matters, Teams, and Attorneys.• Negotiation of various operating and capital lease and loan lines.
