Western Rwanda Hiv/Aids Healthcare Initiative - Karongi
• Assisted the local partners in the development of a family-centered and community-based treatment service model• Developed home based guidelines and a kit for community development trainers (CDT) and volunteers (CDV) to follow-up of HIV/AIDS patients• Spearheaded implementation of a family testing approach that increased enrolment of patients with a particular focus on pediatric HIV/AIDS patients• Participated in the monitoring of data at the district hospital and health centers through supervisory visits• Provided hands-on training during site visits, collected data from the sites which were analyzed allowing the provision of feedback to the supervised facilities• Developed a standardized Operational Procedures for comprehensive HIV/AIDS services for various staff including Prevention for Positive (PwP)
