Having worked for more than 20 years in the field of policy, market trends, communications, strategic partnerships, and events management, I have developed a wide range of skills that would meet and exceed the expectations of a job role. In my present role, I’m leading the external relations for the UNDRR Regional Office for the Arab States managing its resource mobilization, communications, and partnerships.Previously I joined the UNHCR to run the F2F program in the MENA region and developed its policy, marketing, and communications strategy, and oversee its implantation in the region.Prior to that I was the Director of Marketing, Communications, and Events at IHC and developed the marketing, branding, and communications strategy in line with the UAE humanitarian policies and guidelines. I’ve accomplished important achievements, including enhancing strategic partnerships and developing communication channels between the government and the UN agencies serving the humanitarian work.I've organized and managed many international campaigns, roadshows, workshops, training, and international forums for the different industries I served in. Within the humanitarian sector in the last 9 years, I planned and organized the launching of IHC’s strategy 2015 – 2020, that is led by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum I led the annual celebration of the World Humanitarian Day in coordination with OCHA -New York, and organised the UN Financing Report Launch led by the UN Secretary-General which provides sustainable and innovative solutions to the latest humanitarian challenges including accessibility, funding, security and efficient emergency response.As an expert in communications, I have been in charge of content development, speeches, key messages, and press release drafting and publishing. I’ve built a strong media network with the press, TV, Radio and PR agencies which availed comprehensive media coverage for all the activities and events managed within my capacity.
