Main Responsibilities:
▪ Leading and managing a team of test and methodology engineers (Internal and External JLR) responsible for delivery of Vehicle-in- Loop (ViL) and Powertrain-In-Loop (PiL) projects on Powertrain testbeds.
▪ Requirement capture of the test requirements from various attribute teams and stakeholders.
▪ Development and verification of automated test cycles (Emission and Non-emission related) and DVMs for various vehicle attribute teams.
▪ Review and sign-off the designs related to testbed and facility hardware equipment.
▪ Leading the continuous improvement projects for methodology development on powertrain testbeds.
▪ Standardization of processes across whole powertrain test field for setup and troubleshooting of tool chain software.
▪ Defining objectives, personal growth plans and conducting performance reviews for the team members
▪ Skill development of team members on latest testbed tool chains methodologies.
▪ Conducting hiring interviews of candidates for recruitment of test engineer roles.

Main Responsibilities:▪ Development of robust testbed methodologies for reducing downtime and increasing automation.▪ Commissioning of tool chain software as per test requirements.▪ Data quality/validation checks and reporting to the customers/stakeholders.▪ Maintaining of test related work instructions for testbed operators to ensure efficient unmanned operation on testbeds.

Main Responsibilities:▪ Part of a team responsible for Emissions and On-Board Diagnostics calibration for both Gasoline and Diesel engine applications▪ High altitude and climatic trials, drivability calibration and optimization for passenger cars and HCV applications.▪ Benchmarking of end of line vehicles for calibration, emissions, fuel economy, friction and drivability, both on road and chassis dynamometer.▪ Troubleshooting faults, problems or issues with the electronic and electrical system of both engine and vehicle applications.
