• Administering inventory policy & procedures including inventory levels & stock-out rate and managing disposal of obsolete or surplus materials• Categorizing inventory in A, B & C categories, setting inventory norms, and tracking inventory performance on a fortnightly basis• Supervising inventory for casting, sell through analysis, and inventory budgeting vs actual level analysis• Calculating inventory ageing based on product launch date • Developing plans for inter-store movement of non-performing products within system to explore sell through possibilities• Returning unsold products to supplier within 6 months of its launch as per corporate inventory policy• Managing monthly pickup of claim stock from retail stores to supplier and helping in generation of 4-5 Cr. per annum of cash inflow into system• Maintaining inventory hygiene at stores & warehouse; detecting unhealthy i.e. dirty, soiled, defective untagged & box broken stock during audit, planning its disposal & settlement, and ensuring loss is getting debited to the concerned team or person• Planning refurbishment of unfit products at warehouse• Removing physically unfit stock from warehouse, identifying physically unfit stock, negotiating rates with lot vendors, and scraping such material on regular intervals• Settling claim inventory sent back to supplier monthly to generate around 4-5 cr of cash inflow in system• Arranging at least 2 stock audits at 400 of retail stores and warehouses spread at Pan India Level• Monitoring functionality of loss prevention equipment (Burglary Alarm System, Sensor Machine, and CCTV Camera) at 225 of high street and 175 mall stores• Addressing routine issues/queries related to day-to-day warehouse operations within TAT• Taking monthly in/out plan from Merchants and Sale Team• Updating returns shipments in system within 7 days of timeline post quality check to ensure re-use of returned inventory for other customer
