EAE is a workstation-based fourth generation language (4GL) & is ideal for creating & maintaining enterprise-scale applications. It is used for designing and defining elements and relationships, and constructing and testing systems based on these. EAE is a unified development and deployment environment intended for data-centric, transaction processing applications. While composed of a set of components, each optimized to a specific function and development role, the environment is integrated around a single centralized repository. Applications are specified with a combination of models and a 4GL in such a way that anything specific to a deployment environment is left for later automated generation, for example, details of user interface graphics or database technology. Thus the application design can be specified and maintained in a deployment-neutral fashion and subsequently be deployed to multiple environments with a high degree of automation. Developers do not need to know the implementation details of different operating environments or database management systems. This tool assists supervisors to develop plans, assigning resources (Employees) to tasks, tracking progress, managing time work and analyzing workloads by calculating efforts. The following are the unique features of the tool:Managers should be assisted in developing plans, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing time, work and analyzing workloads by calculating efforts. This tool is a web based application will be able to generate the application in different platforms (different flavors of Linux, windows, MCP and OS2200 which are Unisys proprietary operating systems).
