Managing a team of staff, delivering support to the local and national employer to attract suitable candidates for their vacancies, whilst raising awareness of the industries and transferable skills. Overseeing the relationships with employers, Chambers, DWP, LEPs and partner organisation throughout the West Midlands region, exploring vacancies and speaking in confidence about their corporate social responsibilities. The focus of the role is to support across all regions and look at ways how engagement with businesses and customers can be delivered whilst ensuring that we are meeting the overall targets. The core role was always to ensure employers were happy with the outcome and learners were supported throughout the year whilst on the apprenticeship ensuring they qualified within their chosen apprenticeship area. Account managing the employers so they were happy with the provided service which led repeat business. Within this role, it was paramount that employers were fully updated with relevant apprenticeship changes and communicated on a regular basis.
