Vendor documents review and vendor coordination related to combustion equipments like HP Boilers, HRSG. At present handling Macchi for HP Boiler and Hammon Deltak (HDI) for HRSG.

Proposal & Performance Design for Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). Coordination with technical collaborator Nooter Eriksen USA.

Job Responsibilities as Combustion Engineer:Review ITB and prepare data sheets, specifications and requisitions of combustion equipment such as fired heaters (process furnaces), flares (elevated flares and ground flares), incinerators (SRU Reaction furnaces, incinerator, etc.) and boilers (both package type and HRSG). Planning of Combustion Engineering Execution in the Project Preparation of required engineering inputs for other disciplines like process, C&I, piping, civil departments.Design study/calculation for the performance and strength of combustion equipment to verify ITB, vendor or their own designs Technical clarifications/evaluations of vendor proposals Engineering coordination between vendors, JGC engineering disciplines, construction site and clients/joint venture Review and control of vendor engineering deliverables Control vendor engineering schedule by reviewing the technical documents as per agrees documentation schedule.

Job Responsibilities as Process Engineer:• Thermal design of oil & gas fired boilers (Package, shop and site assembled boilers), HRSG’s, HP / LP Heaters, pressure vessels, Deaerator, during Pre-order & Contract stage for finalising furnace dimensions and heat transfer surfaces arrangement. • Prediction of boiler performance at various off design loads. Selection of superheater metallurgy and other pressure parts.• Preparation and evaluation of bought-out purchase specifications such as low Nox Burners, FD/FGR Fan, Boiler Feed Pump, Control Valve selection, Safety Relief valves, Dosing System, with Engineering standards as per API 560 / API 530 / ASME Sec I/ IBR design codes. Design and selection of Low Nox combustion burners applicable in Aux boiler and HRSG’s Valve schedule (i.e selection of valves based on design pressure and design temperature)• Responsible for development of Basic and FEED process engineering design in accordance with project’s specs, international Std and recognized Engineering Best Practices and preparation of comments and clarifications required on the technical specification.• Preparation P & I diagrams & control schemes, Heat and Mass Balance Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Equipment process data sheet, bill of materials and process input data for all instruments in DCS.• After execution, supporting Field Engg. group to solve problem in the site and preparing the PG Test reports as per ASME PTC-4.1 / PTC-4.0 / PTC-4.4• As a Sr.Engineer in the department, I perform self-check of my jobs completed and provide guidance to less experienced engineers.
