Led the data science group at AppsFlyer, a global mobile attribution platform. Managed the Haifa office, growing it from 4 to 30 developers. Headed the Golang community, expanding it to over 100 developers. Developed open-source libraries and frameworks in Golang.AppsFlyer is the world largest mobile attribution platform, as such the company manages enormous amounts of data. Our data scientists dig gold from the ground for our customers, delivering intelligent products over that huge amount of data. We build several key products at appsflyer, including fraud prevention, intelligent campaign optimization, and intelligent attribution logic.In my spare time at AppsFlyer I headed the Golang community (guild) at AppsFlyer. As a veteran golang developer and one of the first Go developers at appsflyer, I assumed the role of leading the Golang community (guild) at AppsFlyer, growing it from handsome of developers to a community of over 100 developers. As the community lead I managed and developed several golang infrastructure libraries, tooling and methodologies, best practices and provided ongoing education (code reviews, bi-weekly meetings and special tutoring). Manage AppsFlyer engineering office in Haifa, growing it from 4 to 30 developers.In Israel AppsFlyer has two engineering offices, the first is in Herzliya and the second is in Haifa. As I joined the company's north district I assumed responsibility of the office and engineering team, taking part in the day to day management, projects, education, and hiring.

Led diverse teams in cross-organization infrastructure and cultural efforts. Managed code review workgroup, hiring workgroup, and communications initiatives. Led multi-region architecture and deployment automation, including a large Kubernetes Proof of Concept.* Code Review workgroup manager. Assumed leadership on organization wide code quality and code review. Took the practice of anecdotal f2f code review and turned it into a methodological practice of Merge Requests (Pull Request) and strict in-depth offline and effective mandatory code reviews. Serving as a focal point to everything code review, providing education to every new employee with code review in depth presentation. * Hiring workgroup manager. Managed a workgroup of diverse engineers, managers and HR to improve appsflyers' hiring quality. Outcomes of this work are, to mention a few: improved hiring process, including proper screening, hiring committee, shadowing process (apprenticeship), ramping up every new interviewer with a full day interview workshop (which I created and presented alongside our VP engineering).* Communications. Lead several organization wide communications efforts, including the adoption of internal discussion board (Discourse), internal QnA system (Stack Overflow for Teams) to be acknowledged by the SO company as the "best and fastest adoption seen ever", an internal RFC process, working with our CEO and similar stakeholders.* Multi-region Architect. AppsFlyer's huge datacenter workload (1000s of VMs) multi-region and multi-cloud infrastructure work, leading a team of several multi-disciplinary engineers to pave the road for the rest of the engineering team for global deployment of appsflyer's service. * Deployment automation, including large Kubernetes PoC, working with the entire cloud native stack. Oversaw product design, implementation, and managed the engineering organization. Yodas is a database where software developers, product managers, and designers share their product and feature achievements.As the CTO and co-founder of Yodas I was responsible for product design, implementation and management of the entire engineering organization (group of 7 developers)

Developed mission-critical infrastructure and services for Totango, including deployment automation, database infrastructure tooling, API gateway, and AWS-related architecture.* A deployment automation tool (continuous deployment infrastructure)* Database infrastructure tooling (Cassandra and MySQL)* Mission critical API Gateway* AWS hardening and automation; and was responsible for AWS related architecture.

Designed the product's public API layer, built an automation tool for generic API production, trained Python developers, and developed monitoring tools.

Oversaw all engineering activities at Social Studios TV, a company connecting social networks to the world of television.

invi is a scheduling and texting service designed to reduce friction in setting up social meetings. Responsible for all technical aspects, including server-side development and an iPhone app.

One of the first developers at Outbrain, became the backend team lead and architect. Implemented large-scale web applications syndicated across thousands of websites. Developed an open-source Java client to the Apache Cassandra database called Hector.With my team we implemented large scale web applications syndicated across tens of thousands of web sites including top US and worldwide news sites.I was the Cassandra (and other nosql) expert at outbrain (and in fact in Israel), I had built features front-to-back and implemented high scale and highly available infrastructure operating across geographies and in a multi datacenter environment.I had led, designed and implemented one of the first Continuous Deployment systems in the world.Most of the time i worked with Java, some Scala and some Python, Javascript.During my tenure at Outbrain I developed an open source Java client to the Apache Cassandra database which had become the de-factor client at the time and officially supported by Cassandra provider Datastax: Hector. Hector is the most popular Java client for the Cassandra database. I am the author and maintainer of the open source Hector project. Built products, including an ads-search engine and YouTube's interactive videos. Tech lead of the Interactive Video Annotations project, a hugely popular product on YouTube.Interactive Videos started as my (and co-founder Michael Fink) 20% project at Google. It was a project of passion which graduated to a full time project and a first-to-the-market hugely popular product. Today hundreds of millions use Interactive Videos on YouTube.I was the team lead and tech lead of a group of 9 employees spanning two continents, Israel and US (California), including 6 software engineers, a product manager, UX designer, and QA.

Twitgraph is a twitter trends and sentiment analyzer. Twitgraph was a passion project of mine while I was at Google, I developed it as a hobby. Twitgraph does two things very well: Given a search query (e.g. "youtube annotations") it determines its traction over time analyzes users' sentiment (are the twits happy or not).It presents a chart of how many tweets exist for this search term every day and adds sentiment analysis for those tweets in order to track user's satisfaction.http://twitgraph.appspot.com/

I was the TA at the course Advanced Topics in Computer Science. During the course students studied javascript and had to build web applications using Google gadgets framework. In the course there were some 50 BSc students of 3rd and 4th year, Computer Science.In this course I taught web basics, gadgets and iGoogle basics and students created their own (very successful and inspiring) gadgets.

Responsible for web UI development, REST API design, and AJAX search components for RawSugar, a free internet service providing navigation and search for tagged content.

Developed security and penetration tools for Microsoft's firewall product, including penetration tests and stress analysis tools.

Just Ask is a start-up company that develops e-learning applications. As a Software Engineer (Most of the time worked as a part time during studies) I have designed and implemented a web application for e-learning. This application was implemented using an object oriented DB called Cache.
