Achievements- Designed and built the opt-in and authentication feature that enabled +500K clients to have access to many chat services in a secure and simple way through WhatsApp (one of the most used messaging apps in Brazil).- Allowed other teams and projects of the company and external providers to send notifications to the same thousands of opted-in clients above through WhatsApp.- Increased the team’s feature delivery rate by refactoring the legacy code of the project’s core service to a new version built using Node.js and Typescript, applying SOLID and Clean Architecture concepts.- Reduced the costs with phone calls by building a scalable chatbot service for WhatsApp with another engineer through integration with third-party messaging APIs, and IBM Watson for NLU (Natural Language Understanding.- Improved the project's overall quality by writing technical documentation and transferring knowledge about the application's features, and past design decisions.ContextBradesco Seguros is one of the biggest insurance company groups in Brazil and Latin America, with +4MM clients just in the health segment.
