I am a veteran communications professional with a special expertise in foreign policy and digital diplomacy, focusing on Europe and the Middle East.As Press Manager and Policy Adviser at the European Union Delegation in Tel Aviv, I am not only the EU's liaison to the Israeli press but also responsible for explaining EU policies and priorities to the Israeli public at large and for identifying and countering disinformation. My objective is to promote and improve EU-Israel relations in all fields -- political dialogue, trade and commerce, research & innovation, education, etc. In my other hat as a team member of the delegation's political section, I provide information and analysis on Israel and the Middle East to key decision-makers in the EU leadership.Before joining the EU Delegation in Tel Aviv, I was a journalist, analyst and lecturer specializing in the Middle East, especially Israeli foreign policy. My reporting for Haaretz and The Times of Israel has taken me to Israel and the Palestinian territories, Jordan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, the US, the UK, Russia, China, Germany, France, Greece, Belgium, Portugal, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Chad.
