I'm a musician, songwriter & record producer, based in Ramsgate on the Kent coast. I have many years experience as a professional musician. I played bass, and also worked at different times as musical director & production manager for Mr Hudson (& The Library), which lead to various national TV appearances, & tours with Kanye West, Jay-Z, Amy Winehouse, Adele & The Police amongst others, as well as the chance to perform alongside the likes of Kanye, Kid Cudi, Soweto Kinch, Tinie Tempah & Kano on stage & in the studioI was also bassist and musical director for my Library bandmate Joy Joseph on her solo project, writing and producing her debut single, and I've had a long term creative relationship with eccentric singer-songwriter Art Terry for whom I've produced two LPs, as well being a part of his live show as bassist, vocalist & musical directorI also play guitar & keyboards, & sing, and have had various different outlets for my own songwriting and performance, including as a solo artist and with the band August. I run a record label called Frizz Records, which is dedicated to keeping vinyl alive, and has released records so far by Art Terry, August, David Garside, Joy Joseph, Leila Adu, Miryam Solomon & Sugarcane as well as my own debut solo single. Since I moved out to Ramsgate from London in 2015 I’ve been focusing mainly on record production, with recent credits including Sugarcane, Lunatraktors, Marianne Dissard, Art Terry and Hunter & Her. Specialties: My musical ethos, as a writer, musician and label boss, is to steer off the main roads a little and find things which are original and artistically interesting, but then to try to make these accessible to people...without losing any of the uniqueness along the way...I enjoy collaborating too, as a session musician on bass, guitar & keys, as a songwriter, MD and/or producer. I'm always open to new projectsI can write music to order in most styles for film, tv, etc
