In this role, I was responsible for creating and establishing a successful team within the company to start a professional Corporate Communications discipline. This was a 'nice to have' task until that time. Making my first experiences in recruiting and coaching, I was able to effectively build and manage a team that set new standards. We have been developing and implementing key processes and procedures, ensuring a strategic corporate communication. As examples we established a Newsroom for increasing efficiency as well as a 'Figures Week' (multi channel communcation strategy for financial figures). Proud that both is still in place and used. I managed M&A, crisis, and change communication, news and issue management, corporate messaging, media relations management, social collaboration and social intranet, strategic development of social media channels, and social selling training.Back in that time I learned in so many areas and gained one massive take-away I will always benefit from: Communication is always the key to improve.
