As a freelance Producer, she's been fortunate to create award winning films that deeply resonate with audiences and highlight perspectives and voices that are often unheard, specifically Black non-stereotypical voices.As an Educator she writes articles which highlight different aspects of African nations and explores relationships between Africans and African-Americans. She also produces a Youtube series about producing films. Raquel has used her copyediting skills to assist scholars in gaining admission to top universities, winning various scholarships, and writing compelling and persuasive essays, articles and dissertations.Raquel loves traveling the world and immersing herself in different cultures. Living like locals and adopting their practices has oftentimes resulted in her incorporating elements of their lifestyle into her own and it's been life changing!Mission: Raquel is an American born descendant of previously enslaved Africans on a search to find a "home" on the African continent. Earning 2 Masters Degrees has made her highly educated, yet still very ignorant when it comes to the diversity, cultures, and beauty of the 54 countries in Africa.
