• Worked as a frontliner procurement agent during the Pandemics attending the requests of the Air Force related to the maintenance of the aircraft fleet which facilitated the military missions during this time (repatriation of citizens that were located in China, bringing immunizations to remote communities such as the ones located in the Amazon, the transport of human organs for transplants and others);• Prepared Invitation for Bid (IFB), and Request for Quotation (RFQ);• Negotiated the best price with vendors ensuring that the requested items met product specifications;• Sustained a tracking balance sheet to ensure that obligated funds are not exceeded, and to avoid unauthorized commitment;• Controlled inventory levels and worked with plant manufacturing operations and logistics teams, suppliers, and demand planning department;• Investigated the market and performed research to identify whether potential acquisition is feasible and beneficial for the end user;• Responsible for overseeing contracts for the Commission and coordinating with companies to guarantee that the terms of contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the contract terms and regulations.• Supported the Privacy and Proposal team by promptly addressing technical questions received in Request for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring that responses aligned with the technical requirements and specifications outlined in the RFPs;• Led a comprehensive process redesign initiative within the Logistics Department, aligning operations with the organization’s core objectives.
