Some of my key contributions and accomplishments have been: • Accountable for the delivery of system requirements and specification for the system upgrades to the current flight data processing (FDP) system, NAS, as part of the UK’s New En Route Centre system. New versions of the FDP system typically delivered in a 12-18 month cycle.• Responsible as a work package manager for the provision and delivery of all system engineering related activities and documentation for defining the system upgrades to the current FDP system, NAS, with technical management of up to 5 direct engineering staff. • Responsible for the definition and management of the system engineering activities as part of the project plans, schedules and resource finances, with proven delivery against key project milestones. Management and mitigation of key risks and issues relating to project plans and cross project dependencies. • Held responsibility as a lead engineer and delivered system upgrades and integrating supporting systems for a new flight data processing system, NATS-iTEC; developed by the supplier, Indra.
