Led a group of 7 personnel through the recruitment, education, and training of officer candidates for the United States Air Force. Managed over 130 cadets across 11 schools through 500+ hours of academic instruction and leadership training objectives. Drove transformation that streamlined processes, reinvigorated cadet programs, and propelled community interconnection.

Served as the Chief Financial Officer to the base commander and senior staff for financial matters. Led over 160 personnel in the base financial management office and 15 headquarters staff agencies. Oversaw financial customer service operations for 6,200 personnel and $154M dollar annual base budget for the Air Force’s 2nd most high-tempo combat organization.

Led a Military Entrance Processing Station of 43 personnel and oversaw the processing of approximately 1,400 individuals annually for enlistment into the armed services. Managed one of the largest geographic operational areas in the nation covering 150,000 square miles to include the entire state of Montana and 1/3 of Wyoming.

Facilitated resolution of Headquarters Air Force issues and advocated process improvement events with Secretary of the Air Force agencies, centers, and geographically separated units (GSU). Enabled strategic communication that integrated law, policy and statements for the Financial Management cost and acquisition community. Principal advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Programs). Provided guidance, policies and training for 17 analysts in two divisions for multiple types of funds.

Managed and executed a $150M dollar budget for the base and 38 other tenant organizations. Deployed to Afghanistan from November 2010 to October 2011, as the Chief of the Commander’s Emergency Response Program, and managed over 1,700 personnel executing more than 38,000 counterinsurgency projects worth $1.8B dollars. Deployed to Qatar from November 2012 to May 2013, as the base budget officer, and led a six-member team in the execution of a $93M dollar budget.
