Responsible for the overall endpoint security management for large Citrix VDI and Azure Virtual Desktop environments under the Defense Health Agency (DHA) umbrella.- Planned, engineered, tested, and implemented the rollout of McAfee Endpoint Security (ENS) for over 7,500 Defense Health Agency assets in a largely Citrix VDI environment. This includes the transition from legacy McAfee products to Trellix Endpoint Security Solutions, installations, policy development, management, and sustainment for in-house assets as well as PaaS and IaaS customers.- Engineered, tested, documented, and upgraded the McAfee ePO servers and McAfee anti-virus solution at 7 sites, bringing the Clinical Desktop Program into compliance and significantly increasing performance for end-users while improving the program’s overall image.- Developed McAfee/Trellix endpoint security policies for on-prem and VDI environments including IPS, NIPS,DLP, Firewall, Access Protection and On-Access scanning for use at all Defense Health Agency (DHA) sites under the Datacenter Operations Program.- Designed, tested and transitioned the endpoint security solution for the Datacenter Operations Program Azure tenant, comprising over 7,500 endpoints. Working closely with the DevSecOps and Desktop Virtualization teams, leveraged Intune, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and Microsoft Purview to develop a comprehensive security solution to meet all Department of Defense requirements. Oversaw the transition from McAfee/Trellix and led the effort including engineering and management/budget planning.

Responsible for the design, engineering, implementation and support for the Navy's Host Based Security System (HBSS) solution prior to, during and post installation for several CONUS and OCONUS sites.- Developed baseline ePO policies for use at all Navy NOCs and TNOCs.- Wrote HBSS/ePO operations guides, system designs, and installation guides.- Engineered, tested and installed the McAfee ePO (HBSS) image used at Pacific/Atlantic NOCs for managing all assets onboard every Atlantic/Pacific afloat unit.

- On a team providing IA support for a large environment hosting several servers and internal applications within the Navy Enterprise Data Center.- Served as an Information Assurance SME, providing guidance to system administration and application development teams, improving application security during development and sustainment.- Tested, documented and submitted multiple DIACAP packages in support of several internal SPAWAR software applications.- Drafted several network architecture and engineering diagrams in support of the certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts.- Created and completed hundreds of DISA checklists and generated risk assessment reports (RAR) and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for accreditations.

Member of the Navy Medicine Mitigation and Remediation Support (MARS) team.- Supported the Navy Medicine CyberSecurity Enterprise by mitigating vulnerabilities via on-site and remote support. Provided support for 49 Naval hospitals/clinics through the entire C&A process up to submittal for accreditation.- Mitigated or closed over 250,000 Category I, II and III vulnerabilities, significantly increasing security and ultimately leading to the successful certification and accreditation of several Naval hospitals and clinics.- Worked with HBSS administrators at each site to provide guidance and ensure compliance with DISA STIGs and various CTOs.- Created and secured Windows 7 image used by the Navy Medicine Enterprise.- Created/modified and applied group policies to mitigate Windows vulnerabilities.
