I am driven by my deep curiosity about the world around me. I grew up in an academic family, which made the clarity of scientific facts govern my life. This passion grew and pushed me to study biochemistry at the Universidad de Chile.Following that, I continued my studies at Linköping University and after five years of laboratory experience, received my licentiate degree in protein chemistry. Throughout this extensive academic period, I acquired a number of publications in high-ranking journals. ACS Chem Neurosci. 2016 Jul 20;7(7):924-40.Following on from that, I have since spent the past three years within a high-paced research company dedicated to human skin and hair.The combination of my professional and academic experience enables me to lead and aid fast-paced and highly technical research operations, while upholding full compliance to regulatory requirements. My exceptional analytical capabilities enable me to drive wide-scale operational enhancements. Moreover, I identify and rectify arising risks and issues promptly and effectively. My growing leadership capabilities mean I can nurture and coach the professional growth of fellow industry professionals.In a technical sense, I exhibit a strong understanding of RNA analysis, biochemical, and biophysical techniques. I possess an in-depth knowledge of various industry-related IT software; most notably MS Office, Linux, and GraphPad Prism. Finally, I am able to prepare and present a range of reports and documentation in a concise and well-structured manner.On a personal level, I deem myself as hardworking, resourceful, creative, and empathic. I am renowned for my excellent attention to detail and problem-solving qualities.
