- Started, structured and managed sales operations in Mexico, being responsible for domestic sales, commercial strategic plan, new business development, sales force, profitability and budget and objectives achievement.- By the end of the second year of operations, sales where increased 150% as compared to “kick-off” year, being the company the main supplier in the Courier market (DHL, UPS, Red-Pack, Aeroflash, GSM Express, Pegaso Express, Sepomex), and third in Bank & Securities Transport segment (American Express, IXE Banco, Vector Casa de Bolsa, Banco Fácil, U.S. Embassy, Grupo Bissa, Tameme, Grumer).- Restructured Customer Service & Logistics areas, achieving reductions in lead-times by 30%, as well as $60,000 usd annual savings in transport costs.- Successfully implemented the project “Complement Service”, in which we retailed products required by our Customers. I developed key suppliers and designed product quality standards and guidelines for supply. This project represented 10% of total sales.- Created a new category of products (Generic products), having immediate successful results, representing 20% of total sales.- Due to high market competence, I negotiated supply contracts of key raw materials, such as boxboard, plastic film and security tapes, resulting in annual savings of $185,000 usd.- Developed sales procedures for future ISO-9000 certification.

During my term, I increased export volume by 50%.- Contribution margins raised from 20% to 35%.- Annual savings in freight costs of $350,000 usd through negotiations with logistics companies and custom agents; delivery time was reduced by 20% by means of Customer’s requirements scheduling; claims were also reduced by 50% by detecting and searching Customer’s needs as well as understanding their business.- Along with the Finance Direction, we reduced past due accounts from 20% to 5%.- In 2001, we won the Queretaro State Export Prize.
