Program Leader Integrator of a new global Digital Pre-Assembly integration process to manage/improve dimensional variation for Fit & Finish. - Short term assignment at Ford North America to learn the process on site and lead the deployment in Ford of Mexico.- The process begins early in the vehicle cycle and continues until launch with special emphasis on target setting, stack-ups, GD&T, CAD validation and cross functional communication.- Leadership, work planning and execution to comply with Craftsmanship requirements to overcome cross functional issues integrating product engineers, CAD designers, Studio designers, Vehicle Operations engineers, Dimensional Control engineers and suppliers with experience on C, CD & V platforms. - Report status at program milestones, communicate metrics and top issues to management and manage system leaders workload.

Geometrical compatibility analysis engineer. The process finds digital pre-assembly issues on virtual constructions with experience on C & U platforms.- Leadership, work planning and follow up on assigned upper body vehicle blocks to overcome cross functional issues integrating product engineers, CAD designers, Studio designers, Vehicle Operations engineers and suppliers.- Digital Pre-assembly plan and execution to reach the required targets of milestones on all the programs assigned.- Leader of close loop process on a short term assignment program at Ford North America New Models facilities. This process starts identifying vehicle prototype build issues analysis and binning the geometric issues from manufacturing and supplier quality issues followed by root cause analysis to end up with lessons learned preventive actions.

Rear Closures engineer supporting the Ford North American team from virtual design stages until Vehicle Prototype constructions in a short term assignment at Ford North America New Models facilities for Fusion and MKZ programs. - Design and packaging of overslam and anti-chucking bumpers based on benchmark analysis and supplier support with the objective of improve the quality of the product.- Support for identification, development and definition of countermeasures for all design issues found at prototypes construction.- Participant in a campaign prevention clinic at Hermosillo assembly plant as a parallel assignment.

Side Door Design Engineer involved in Mexico and North America built programs starting from the first vehicle prototype construction.- Department leader of cost reduction activities, achieving the target of 6 million USD during 2007 fiscal year. Main activities: Nissan and suppliers assembly plants linewalks, benchmark, part analysis, steel specification changes, brainstorm with other design departments and purchasing.- Group's team leader for Sentra and Trucks.- Design issues identification from prototype stages, root cause investigation and countermeasure development and implementation during launch.- Investigation and resolution of field and warranty issues.- Supplier development.
