Raul Gutierrez serves as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) with Truist Securities. Mr. Gutierrez has over 25 years of experience in originating and delivering a broad array of strategic and transactional advisory services to publicly traded, sponsor-owned and privately owned companies. Mr. Gutierrez previously served as a Managing Director and Head of Healthcare M&A from 2010 to 2020.  He was instrumental in establishing and growing the firm's Healthcare M&A effort, providing senior transaction leadership and deepening client relationships across the firm. Prior to joining the bank in 2010, Mr. Gutierrez served as a Managing Director and Head of Healthcare M&A for Deutsche Bank advising across a diverse set of clients.  He started his career at Morgan Stanley where he spent close to a decade in the Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructuring Department spending his time across several industry verticals, including industrials, metals and mining, transportation, and media.  Mr. Gutierrez received a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
